Miscellaneous:

• Reminder to pick up the Goodies Factory items today from 3:00-5:30.
• Thanksgiving break will be from November 25-29.
• Georgetown Holiday program will be on the evening of December 1. Please watch the blog for further details.

Math:

• We have begun Unit 3 which is about Multiplication and Division with Fractions.  One way to make this unit less difficult for students is to continually practice their math facts.  Please have your son/daughter practice on Math Facts Pro 2-3 times per week for 5-10 minutes a time.

Social Studies:

• Our next area of study in our second unit of social studies will be focusing on early exploration.

ELA:

• Our reading homework expectation for 5th graders is to read 100 minutes per week.
• In writing, we will focus on informational writing.
