Welcome back…I hope you all had a very relaxing and fun-filled break.

1. Starting this Wednesday the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office will begin their 6 week course called TEAM.  A letter is coming home today that explains more about this course.  Please contact Deputy Mike Petroelje if you have more questions at mpetroelje@miottawa.org.

2. We started book clubs today. The students have two days to finish each section of their book to be prepared for the book club conversation. The first section will need to be read by Wednesday morning.  In addition, they need to fill in their reading packet with historical fiction information as they read.

3. There will be a map quiz on the 13 colonies this Friday. A map was sent home before break to use for studying. I also let the students grab a new map today to bring home, if needed.
