Holiday Program Tryouts

Following is a note from Mrs. Bretz concerning tryouts for the Holiday Program. If your daughter is interested in trying out for a dance part then please read.
We are using a choreographed dance from YOUTUBE for one of our songs this year (its actually created by the music company that wrote the song).   We will be having a special group of GIRL dancers on stage.  I’ve asked them to learn the dance on their own if they are interested in the dance part and then I will audition them next week Friday, November 14.
   Thanks so much!!

Science and the Solar Eclipse

Hi parents.

Today in science we learned about solar and lunar eclipses. You may have heard that there will be a partial solar eclipse today. Unfortunately, the eclipse will begin shortly after 5:30 PM, so we won’t have the opportunity to view the solar eclipse during the school day. If you are interested in a family learning opportunity, check out this article from NBC news; it includes videos, information on safely viewing an eclipse, and links to the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, which will be live streaming the event.
